Tiger Mowers has built industrial mowing equipment in Sioux Falls, South Dakota since 1968, when founder Roger Lunstra welded together the first prototype. The company manufactures rotary and flail boom mowers, side and rear mowers, truck mounted boom mowers, and a full line of specialty mowing equipment and attachments engineered to ASTM safety guidelines. Tiger joined Alamo Group in 1994, making the group one of the largest suppliers of mowing equipment to governmental agencies in the United States. A nationwide dealer network provides sales, genuine OEM parts, and service support, and state highway departments have been Tiger customers since a 200-mower order from West Virginia in 1987.
