Battle Motors is an American manufacturer of purpose-built, severe-service vocational trucks for refuse and recycling, infrastructure, ground support, agriculture, and oil and gas operations, headquartered in New Philadelphia, Ohio. The brand evolved from Crane Carrier Company, a heavy-truck maker with roots dating to 1946. Its lineup centres on two chassis families in diesel, compressed natural gas and battery-electric drivetrains: the LNT cabover, offered in diesel, non-CDL and electric versions with industry-leading visibility, a tight turning radius and an ergonomic right-hand stand-up drive option for refuse routes; and the conventional-cab Raider for infrastructure, construction and heavy hauling, available in crew cab, CNG and electric configurations. The Fortris Control Hub cloud platform pairs with the trucks for connected fleet operations. Municipal, government and nonprofit buyers can purchase under a Sourcewell cooperative contract, with financing available, and support runs through authorised dealers, a nationwide parts distribution network, a factory-trained service network, and a First Responders program giving emergency-services operators priority service, training and parts access.
