E-ONE

E-ONE manufactures fire apparatus including rescue trucks, aerials, rescue pumpers, and custom fire apparatus.

Overview

E-ONE has built fire apparatus since 1974, when its founder designed the first modular extruded-aluminum fire truck body. From Ocala, Florida, the company manufactures the full spectrum: pumpers, tankers, aerial ladders and platforms, tractor-drawn aerials, rescues, industrial apparatus, and ARFF trucks, plus the Vector all-electric fire truck. A $23.5 million expansion announced in 2026 is increasing aerial production capacity by 35 percent, and the Chicago Fire Department placed one of North America’s largest apparatus orders, 120 vehicles, with E-ONE and Wheeled Coach that year. Select Series and expedited delivery programs shorten lead times for departments that cannot wait for full custom builds.
