Excellance

Excellance has produced emergency medical and rescue vehicles since 1975.

Overview

Excellance has manufactured custom ambulances and emergency vehicles since 1975, when it was founded to build a high-quality, all-aluminum modular ambulance to federal specifications. The Alabama company specializes in Type I and Type III modular ambulances plus medium-duty models, extra heavy duty units, remount services, and specialty vehicles, with every vehicle custom built to the customer’s specification. Its welded aluminum patient compartments can be remounted onto a new chassis when the old one wears out, extending service life. Customers range from volunteer squads seeking the best long-term value to Acadian Ambulance, the largest private service provider in the United States, which has taken more than 150 Excellance units.
