Ferrara

Custom heavy-duty fire apparatus built in Holden, Louisiana: pumpers, tankers, aerials, wildland, industrial and rescue units, plus the Vector electric truck.

Overview

Ferrara Fire Apparatus manufactures custom, heavy-duty fire trucks at its Holden, Louisiana facility, with more than 6,000 trucks delivered worldwide. The line covers pumpers, tankers, aerial ladders and platforms, wildland, industrial, and rescue apparatus, plus the Vector electric fire truck and a custom chassis line that has exceeded all safety and strength tests. Ferrara is the only apparatus manufacturer to use marine-grade aluminum, pairing thicker extrusions with extra heavy duty construction, and its 30-plus years in the Louisiana oil and gas region built deep expertise in industrial high-flow pump technology. Dealers work hands-on with municipal and industrial departments to custom design each apparatus. Ferrara is a REV Group fire brand, and Terex merged with REV Group in February 2026.
