Overview

GapVax builds sewer cleaning and industrial vacuum trucks in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, where founders Gary and Rose Poborsky started in cleanup work after the 1977 flood and began crafting their own equipment when manufacturers ignored their improvement ideas. The MC Series combination JetVac pairs best-in-class jetting and vacuum in a unitized low-tank design with standard 304 stainless tanks, while the HV Series hydro excavators dig safely around buried utilities with six-cyclone filtration and 15 cubic yard debris bodies. A partnership with Wiedemann Enviro Tec brought water-recycling JetVac units to the United States, cleaning collected water through centrifugal separation and sedimentation with no filters to block. Municipalities, utilities contractors, and industrial operators run GapVax trucks nationwide.
