O’Reilly Auto Parts

Automotive parts nationwide with free store services: check engine code reading, battery testing, fluid recycling and a loaner tool program.

Overview

O’Reilly Auto Parts sells automotive parts and accessories through a nationwide store network, backed by parts professionals who also handle diagnostic and service work at the counter. Its free store services include VeriScan check engine light reading, which pulls OBD-II codes on any 1996 or newer passenger vehicle and returns a list of known issues behind each code. Battery testing and recharging is offered free on car, marine, motorcycle and ATV, heavy-duty, AGM and lawn and garden batteries, on or off the vehicle, with free installation of a replacement in many vehicles. Other no-charge services cover starter and alternator testing, wiper and bulb installation, and recycling of used oil, fluids and batteries. In-store services also include brake drum and rotor resurfacing, custom hydraulic hose making and custom paint mixing, and a loaner tool programme covers jobs that need a specialty tool. A rewards programme earns points on purchases that convert into money off future orders.
