Overview

Pitts Enterprises has manufactured truck trailers in Pittsview, Alabama since 1976, when founder Andrew Pitts built his first log trailer. Now employee-owned through a stock ownership plan and led by Jeff Pitts, the company is the world’s largest and only complete line forestry trailer manufacturer, building log trailers, knuckleboom loader carriers with exclusive rocking beam suspension, lowboys including the Contender GT and GT40 hydraulic removable gooseneck models, open and closed top chip vans, moving floor vans, steel and composite platforms and drop decks, and intermodal chassis. Investments in automated laser cutting and robotic welding support quality and consistency across dedicated production facilities. Pitts is a Sourcewell approved supplier under contract 092922-PTT, with parts and service through more than 80 dealers.
