Best known for rescue apparatus, the fourth-generation family-owned company builds heavy, walk-in, medium, and light rescues, hazmat and air light units, rescue pumpers, Type 3, 4, and 6 wildland trucks, mini pumpers, water supply tenders, and command vehicles, all one-of-a-kind. More than 160 craftsmen have produced over 1,000 emergency vehicles delivered to departments including Houston, Austin, Waco, Riverside County, and Washington DC Fire. SVI is an accredited member of the Fire Apparatus Manufacturers’ Association and recycles metal and paper waste to limit its footprint.
