Wheeled Coach

Municipal and commercial ambulances in Type 1, Type 3, medium duty, CITIMEDIC, transit and high-risk infection control configurations.

Overview

Wheeled Coach, a REV Group brand, builds municipal and commercial ambulances that EMS fleets run hard: Type 1, Type 3, medium duty, the CITIMEDIC series, transit models, and high-risk infection control units. Manufacturing details are distinctive: the patented Cool-Bar external front-mounted condenser improves cooling capacity with 50 percent greater airflow, the nine-step ToughCoat paint process targets corrosion, and TrueForm wall construction uses laser-guided fixture alignment for repeatable frames. In 2026 Wheeled Coach shared one of North America’s largest emergency apparatus orders, 120 vehicles for the Chicago Fire Department, with sister brand E-ONE. Terex merged with REV Group in February 2026.
