Matheny Motors is a family-owned dealership group in Parkersburg, West Virginia, founded in 1922 and now run by the third and fourth generations of the family with more than 300 employees. Trading as Matheny Truck Group, it is an authorized dealer for Freightliner, Western Star, GMC, Hino Trucks, Isuzu Trucks, Landoll and Thomas Built Buses. Its inventory spans medium and heavy duty trucks, trailers, buses, wreckers, fire and emergency apparatus, and light duty and commercial vehicles, both new and pre-owned. The business began when L.G. Mac Matheny, who had worked for International Harvester since 1911, became the International Harvester truck and farm equipment dealer in Parkersburg in 1922 and stayed active in the dealership until 1962. Alongside sales the company runs parts and service departments, with service appointments and parts requests handled online. Corporate offices are at 315 Ann Street in Parkersburg.
