Overview

Sames Auto Group has sold cars in Laredo since 1910, when W.J. Sames and partner J.R. Moore brought Ford to the city and sold Laredo’s first Model T. The company calls itself Texas’ oldest dealership and one of the oldest in the nation, with Sames taking full ownership of the automobile business in 1925. It is now in its fifth generation, led by Evelyn Sames, its first female leader, alongside Hank Sames II. The group operates thirteen dealerships across Laredo, Corpus Christi, Bastrop, McAllen and Harlingen, carrying Ford, Lincoln, Chevrolet, Honda, Nissan, Mazda, Kia, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram, plus two super centers, a certified pre-owned programme and a large used inventory. The Sames Fleet Center operates from 6105 San Dario Avenue in Laredo, with service and maintenance handled across the dealership network after the sale. Community programmes include Round Up for Driscoll Kids and Drive Sames 4 Education.
