Overview

Braun Northwest has built North Star emergency response vehicles for 30 years at its Chehalis, Washington factory. The custom line covers Type I, II, and III ambulances plus fire rescue, mobile intensive care, hazmat, command, SWAT, search and rescue, bomb/EOD, crime scene, and prisoner transport vehicles, each built to the ordering agency’s specification. Agencies buy factory-direct with no dealer layer, and the same factory handles repairs, painting, electrical work, and maintenance. Remounting an existing module on a new chassis saves roughly 30 percent versus buying new.
