T-Priority

T-Mobile's first responder service on a dedicated 5G network slice with priority and preemption.

Overview

T-Priority is T-Mobile’s service for first responders, delivered over a dedicated 5G network slice whose capacity can expand dynamically during rare periods of extreme congestion. The company states its 5G network covers 98 percent of Americans and the most highway miles in America, and cites Ookla Speedtest for the claim that it is the best mobile network in the U.S. Agencies get priority and preemption, mission critical push-to-talk, and more than 100 network-slice compatible devices, with eligibility defined for both agencies and businesses. T-Satellite extends communications, location awareness, and essential data exchange to first responders where coverage is unavailable or disrupted.
