How this is calculated
Services per vehicle are its yearly miles divided by the PM interval; the fleet total is that times your vehicle count. Technician hours are services times the shop time per PM, and FTEs divide those hours by 1,500 productive hours a year, the same figure our Technician-to-Vehicle Ratio tool uses so the two agree. Intervals and shop hours come from fleet maintenance guides, which give ranges, so Lean, Middle, and Careful pick the long or short end. Heavy-duty shop hours are our own planning assumption and are marked as such. Dollar figures use only the labor rate and parts cost you enter. The completion check compares the PMs you finished against the ones the fleet needed, with 95 percent as the target fleet guides use.
These are planning estimates to support staffing and budget conversations, not a maintenance schedule. Your manufacturer's intervals for your duty cycle, and your own shop history, are the sharpest inputs; type them in wherever you have them.
