Ford Pro Launches Certified Pre-Owned Program for Class 1-7 Commercial Vehicles

Ford Motor Company plans to launch what it calls the first certified pre-owned program for Class 1 through Class 7 commercial vehicles, offering inspected, warranted used trucks and vans through a national dealer network of more than 700 Ford Pro Commercial Vehicle Centers.
The program, named Ford Pro Advantage, will source vehicles from the “sweet spot of high-demand, well-maintained, 2-to-3-year-old commercial vehicles with 30,000 to 70,000 miles,” according to the announcement. Coverage spans Class 1 through Class 7 trucks and vans, including chassis cabs and cutaways from both Ford and competing manufacturers.
Ford Pro Advantage carries two certification tiers with distinct inspection standards and warranty terms.

Buyers under either tier will have access to more than 4,300 Ford Mobile Service vans for routine maintenance and light repairs at job sites. For heavier work, the network includes more than 700 Ford Pro Commercial Vehicle Centers and nearly 100 Pro Elite Service Centers, with Motorcraft PRO parts available at those locations.
Commercial financing will be handled through Ford Pro FinSimple, which the announcement describes as offering commercial financing lines, flexible lease structures and bundled invoicing.
