Overview

Freightliner, a Daimler Truck North America brand, builds the trucks that anchor many government heavy fleets: the M2 106 Plus and M2 112 Plus medium-duty chassis common under municipal work bodies, the 108SD Plus and 114SD Plus severe-duty trucks for plow, dump, and vocational service, and the EconicSD low-entry cab. Electric versions of its core platforms are on roads today, including the eM2 medium-duty and eCascadia, along with natural gas variants of the Cascadia, M2 112, and 114SD. Trucks are sold and serviced through the national Freightliner dealer network, with Detroit powertrains and driver training programs behind them.
