Overview

Hino Trucks is the American operation of Hino Motors, part of the Toyota group of companies, with U.S. offices at 45501 12 Mile Road in Novi, Michigan. Hino has served the U.S. market since 1984 and builds medium duty trucks in the L Series, XL Series and Le Series, having entered Class 8 in 2018. The company reports that 91 percent of its trucks from the 2005 model year and newer are still on the road. Ownership support includes 24/7 roadside assistance and a five year, unlimited mile warranty on Allison transmissions. Hino Edge, the company’s third generation connected vehicle system, comes standard on all trucks and covers dashboard and depot management, case management and telematics. The network numbers 198 dealerships, 44 parts and service points and 54 certified Ultimate Dealers, and the City of Fort Worth is among the public fleets Hino cites.
