Kustom Signals Inc

Kustom Signals, Inc. is dedicated to serving the traffic safety equipment needs of law enforcement.

Overview

Kustom Signals supplies speed enforcement and video evidence equipment to law enforcement agencies and has served the public safety market for more than 60 years. Its lineup covers RADAR, LIDAR, in-car video, body-worn cameras and speed awareness trailers, including the EAGLE 3 in-car radar with its patented front and rear scan mode, the ProLaser 4 handheld LIDAR, the PMD 12 radar speed sign, and the Argus body-worn and in-car camera systems with 4G LTE livestreaming. The company reports nearly a million speed products and nearly 100,000 video products in the field, serving more than 17,000 agencies with a presence in over 90 countries. It also builds railroad speed measurement equipment, including a ProLaser 4 railroad LIDAR, the Falcon handheld Doppler radar and the DRU III OEM radar module. Kustom began in the 1960s making amplifiers used by musicians including Johnny Cash and The Jackson 5, and that electronics knowledge led into radar manufacturing, with its first digital readout RADAR in 1970 and its first moving RADAR in 1972. The company sells through a global network of sales representatives.
