Overview

PureForge manufactures brake rotors treated with its patented Atomic-Forged process, a computer-controlled metallurgical treatment that modifies the cast iron working surface at molecular level to create a dense multi-layer metal matrix. The company says the treatment promotes adherent rather than abrasive friction, effectively eliminating rotor wear, significantly reducing pad wear, and reducing brake fade under heavy payload, steep descents or high speed running. For fleets it claims up to ten times more rotor life and up to five times more pad life, alongside weight savings, rust control and reduced brake dust. Rotors carry a limited warranty of 100,000 miles or three years. The technology comes from Tech M3, formed in 2006 by chief technology officer Nathan K. Meckel, whose patent portfolio the company values at more than $400 million with further applications pending. Public safety credentials include an AMECA Police Declaration of Conformity for Ford Explorer Interceptor brake kits announced in November 2025, an endorsement from the National Fraternal Order of Police, and independent TUV-Nord testing in May 2026 which the company says showed emissions below half the Euro 7 non-exhaust limit.
