TriVan Truck Body

TriVan designs and builds durable, highly specialized law enforcement vehicles, including Mobile Command Centers, prisoner transport vehicles, and SWAT vehicles

Overview

TriVan Truck Body is a family owned manufacturer of custom enclosed truck bodies, trailers and van upfits, working from a 40,000 square foot plant in Ferndale, Washington since 2003. It started with 12 employees building dry freight vans and now has around 85, with the same four partners still active in the business. Everything is built under one roof, with in-house designers, fabricators, welders, painters, carpenters and electricians covering design and fabrication through electrical systems and custom cabinetry. Government and municipal configurations include bridge inspection trucks, mobile laboratories, crew and decontamination trailers, infrastructure service vehicles, sewer and drainage inspection vehicles, telecommunications vehicles, air monitoring trailers, mobile testing vehicles and bookmobiles. Completed public sector builds named on its site include a crew trailer for the Bonneville Power Administration, a water department van for the City of Lynnwood, a graffiti removal van for Sacramento, sewer inspection for Seattle Public Utilities, a bridge crew truck for Snohomish County, substation support vans for Tacoma Public Utilities, a fish tagging trailer for the US Fish and Wildlife Service, a crew carrier for Washington DNR and a bridge crew equipment truck for WSDOT. Its repair facility services, refurbishes and modifies truck bodies and trailers of any brand, not only its own.
