Overview

United Safety and Survivability, which trades as United Safety, supplies fire suppression, operator seating and in-vehicle safety technology to businesses, governments and defence customers. Its fire suppression systems detect and extinguish fires in vehicles and heavy equipment and are sold under the Dafo Vehicle, Reacton, Fireboy and Fogmaker names, with Reacton and Dafo Vehicle both acquired by the company. Operator seating spans the Valor line for first responders, including EMS, Magnus and P1A seats and a mobility track, SHOXS shock-mitigating seats for maritime operators, USSC military seating and USSC seating for transit and rail. Vehicle safety products include Child Check-Mate electronic reminder systems that help prevent a child being left on board, active air purification for cabin air quality, Sy-Klone cab pressurisation and filtration, vehicle locks for access control, and Zero Eyes AI firearm detection with real-time alerting. The company has also launched a lithium-ion battery failure detection sensor. Industries served run from public transportation, school bus and first responder work through rail and locomotive, waste, mining, forestry, agriculture, construction, industrial, marine and military applications, with an online catalogue selling parts and accessories direct.
