TACenergy is an independent wholesale distributor of refined petroleum products, headquartered in Dallas with its original offices in Texarkana and 17 sales offices across the lower 48 states. The company began in 1964 as Truman Arnold Companies, a Texarkana Conoco distributor, and now moves more than two and a half billion gallons of fuel a year through its terminal network. Its product line covers gasoline, diesel and aviation fuels along with biodiesel, ethanol and diesel exhaust fluid. Government and municipal fleets are among the sectors it supplies, alongside transportation, utilities, waste disposal and recycling, mining and construction. TACenergy holds a national cooperative purchasing contract that public agencies can use in place of running their own RFP. A 24/7 supply and logistics call center in Dallas handles ordering and dispatch, and the company offers web based tools for tank monitoring and inventory management.
