Overview

Winter Equipment Company manufactures snow plow blade systems and guards engineered to wear evenly and last two to ten times longer than standard edges, cutting the blade changes that pull trucks off their routes mid-storm. Products fit more than 80 different plows, including straight, V, expandable, one-way, reversible, wing, underbody, and tow plows on everything from pickups and skid steers to motor graders and heavy-duty dump trucks. The company makes its own carbide material, Winter Carbide, in the United States, and says cutting edges built with it last two to three times longer than standard tungsten carbide without cracking on impact. Its Razor with Winter Carbide and Razor XL with Winter Carbide were voted Best New Product at the APWA North American Snow Conference in 2024 and 2026.
