Graphic Designs International, trading as GDI Graphics, has produced fleet graphics and signage for public safety departments since 1994. The company describes itself as the only nationwide fleet graphics business dedicated to police, sheriff, fire rescue, security and the wider public safety community, serving Florida along with the rest of the United States, the US Territories and the Caribbean. Its team carries more than 85 years of combined industry experience, and its work spans vehicle types from Bearcats to golf carts. Jobs run through a four stage process: account managers gather department information and photographs so a fleet stays uniform, the design team assists with material selection, logo design and colour matching, production begins once the department approves, and finished graphics are bagged, boxed and shipped directly to the department. The company stocks 3M vinyls carrying either 7 to 9 year or 4 to 7 year warranties, and advises departments to confirm that any vendor holds a current 3M MCS warranty. Departments that prefer to fit graphics themselves are given an instruction manual and ongoing support.
