Child Check-Mate

The Child Check-Mate line of products offers affordable, real-world solutions for all child passenger environments.

Overview

Child Check-Mate Systems makes patented child passenger safety alarms that remind a driver to walk the vehicle and confirm every child has left it at the end of a run. The system was designed by drivers, an operator and a bus mechanic, is installed on more than 350,000 vehicles worldwide, and uses existing vehicle wiring to reduce installation work.

The line includes the EP1plus, its most cost-effective unit; the EP2plus, which adds an external speaker, motion sensor and third-party GPS integration for real-time alerts; and the CM1 and CM3, available through vehicle OEMs, with programs that let a vehicle move between states. Systems can be programmed to state, county or operational requirements, give audible instructions in up to four languages, scan the vehicle for movement after hours, and fit school buses, minivans, SUVs and passenger vehicles. Products carry a five-year warranty.
