Freedman Seating

Transportation seating for more than 130 years: bus, rail, marine and delivery truck seats supplied to major OEMs, 250+ distributors and governments.

Overview

Freedman Seating has engineered and manufactured transportation seating for more than 130 years and now trades as a Lippert brand. Its product lines cover bus, rail, marine, delivery truck, specialty and commercial vehicle seating, spanning heavy duty and commercial buses, school buses, luxury motor coaches, camper vans and RVs. Bus products run from small and mid-size coaches through paratransit vans and buses to public transit buses and private operator fleets. The company supplies the major OEMs along with more than 250 bus distributors, the federal government and many states and municipalities. An upholstery catalogue offers transportation grade fabric and vinyl in a range of colours and styles, held in house so turnaround stays short. Craig Freedman is chief executive, and the company describes its offer as a total seating package built on design, customer service, product quality and timely delivery.
