Headquartered in Riverside, California, it has worked in the North American transportation industry for more than 38 years and is 100 percent employee owned through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan. Its services cover midlife refurbishment, repowers, retrofits, powertrain conversions, zero emission solutions and major collision repair, aimed at extending fleet life, improving performance and reducing environmental impact. Two affiliate companies round out the offering. Shuttle Bus Leasing, also based in Riverside, provides short to long-term leases of used transit shuttle buses in seasonal, contract, gap and private employee shuttle arrangements, with an inventory covering a range of sizes and configurations. Transit Sales International sells used buses and says it holds the largest inventory in the nation, with more than 1,000 makes and models hand-selected for transit, government, airport and university buyers.
