Toro plans to show two new stand-on platforms at Equip Expo in Louisville, Kentucky, running Oct. 20-23: the AeroMaster, its first dedicated stand-on blower, and a redesigned GrandStand HDM+ stand-on mower offered at a lower price than its predecessor.

The AeroMaster 8100 CFM Stand-On Turbine Blower uses Toro’s turbine technology to deliver 8,100 effective CFM, which the company said is 30% more airflow than competing units in the category. A clutched turbine design lets the operator disengage the blower without shutting off the engine. Fingertip controls move the nozzle through 180 degrees of travel, and the nozzle flexes on impact rather than cracking, then flips up for trailer transport. A toggle front axle is engineered to pivot over uneven terrain to reduce machine vibration during long shifts.

Jackson Gray, product marketing manager at Toro, said the machines were shaped by contractor input. “Designed directly with feedback from professional contractors, these new stand-on introductions put landscape pros in command of every job,” Gray said. “By pairing high-volume power and operator comfort with superior terrain visibility, these new stand-on machines give contractors a versatile way to get more jobs done in their day — with fewer interruptions.”

The GrandStand HDM+ is available in 32-inch and 36-inch cutting widths. It is powered by a Kawasaki FX651V engine and uses Toro’s TURBO FORCE cutting deck. Oversized 13-inch by 6.5-inch front casters are designed to improve maneuverability and reduce turf compaction in tight properties. Tool-less access panels on the rear of the machine give technicians direct access to engine and transmission components without additional disassembly. Toro describes the HDM+ as carrying the highest horsepower in its compact stand-on category.

Both machines are built to integrate with Toro’s Horizon360 business management software. Updates to that platform include a new basic subscription tier with invoicing and payment tools for contractors who do not need the full feature set, a redesigned fleet tracking interface, updated tracking device firmware for continuous location and run-time data, and revised equipment management screens aimed at faster preventive maintenance setup.

Toro will have the machines at indoor booth 7148 and outdoor booth 7600D at Equip Expo.
