SGFMA Modern Electronics Foundation Training Part 2

Part 2 of the Southeast Governmental Fleet Management Association’s Modern Electronics Foundation Training continues on Tuesday, September 22 at 8:30 a.m., immediately following Part 1 on September 20. The two-part course, delivered in partnership with Carquest Training Institute, costs $100 for SGFMA members and $150 for non-members per session. This concluding session reinforces and expands upon foundational electrical concepts, with emphasis on advanced circuit testing techniques and diagnostic tool proficiency. Public-sector fleet maintenance professionals will gain practical competency in voltage analysis, current measurement, resistance diagnostics, and the application of established electrical laws to real-world fleet maintenance scenarios. As vehicle electrical systems grow increasingly sophisticated, this training addresses a critical knowledge gap for government fleet technicians managing modern commercial and heavy-duty equipment.
