ChargePoint

ChargePoint operates one of the largest networks of electric vehicle charging stations across the US, Europe, and Australia.

Overview

ChargePoint supplies EV charging hardware, software, and services for organizations and fleets. Its stations range from the CP6000 AC charger for workplaces and depots to Express Plus DC fast charging at up to 500 kW per port, built on a modular design intended to simplify repair. The ChargePoint Platform manages access, pricing, and uptime across stations, including hardware from other manufacturers, and adds features such as waitlists and fleet operations tools. The company describes itself as a charging enabler rather than a station operator: customers own their programs, while ChargePoint provides deployment, monitoring, and around-the-clock driver support. Its network app reaches more than four million EV drivers, and over 5,000 brands use its systems. A partnership with Eaton extends the work into electrical infrastructure behind the meter.
