Egis Mobile Electric

We develop and manufacture quality focused electrical product and system solutions for modern vehicle and vessel applications.

Overview

Egis Mobile Electric develops and manufactures electrical products and system solutions for demanding vehicle and vessel applications, covering emergency and municipal fleet vehicles, work trucks, marine, and RV, bus, van and 4×4 platforms. The company was created by the divestiture of Copeland Engineering in 2018, which had spent more than 20 years selling electro-mechanical and solid state time delay switching devices largely into the emergency vehicle and municipal fleet markets. Its catalog covers low and high amp timer disconnects, sealed fuse and circuit breaker blocks, ground and power distribution modules, relay distribution modules, busbars from 100 to 600 amps and low voltage disconnects, with whole vehicle system solutions and custom work available case by case. Products are built for harsh environments using stainless steel self-locking hardware, tin-plated copper and sealed housings rated to IP66 and IP67. Most are engineered, assembled and tested at the company’s facility in Bellingham, Washington, and carry a four year warranty, with two years on legacy Copeland products. Egis uses common wire color codes across similar products to simplify installation and troubleshooting, and offers application design assistance.
