HAAS Alert provides Safety Cloud®, a connected vehicle platform that delivers real-time digital alerts to drivers about roadside hazards and emergency vehicles
HAAS Alert operates Safety Cloud, a connected vehicle platform that turns roadside events into real-time digital alerts delivered to nearby drivers. The system is wired to a vehicle’s warning light bar or master switch, so it broadcasts automatically when a responder or roadway worker activates their lights and stops when the lights go off, with no driver action required. Alerts reach motorists up to 30 seconds ahead of a hazard through in-dash displays in Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram vehicles and through leading navigation apps. The company reports 369 million drivers alerted, 309 million fleet-driven miles and 25 million incidents protected in 2025, and describes Safety Cloud as the largest vehicle-to-everything platform in the world. Its own research across more than 40,000 driver interactions found the alerts reduced speeds by 17 percent. Fleets can activate the service through their existing telematics or fleet GPS, and the company traces its founding to 2015, when co-founder and CEO Cory Hohs was nearly struck by an ambulance.
