Axon

Connected public safety technology including TASER devices, body cameras and cloud evidence management.

Overview

Axon builds technology for law enforcement and public safety under the mission Protect Life: TASER conducted energy devices, body-worn and in-car cameras, cloud evidence management, real-time operations software, and Axon 911 call handling. Its stated goal is to cut gun-related deaths between police and the public in half by 2033.

For agencies, the pieces that reach the vehicle side are its tools for finding vehicles faster, its end-to-end drone solutions for Drone as First Responder programs, and its counter-drone airspace protection line. Axon cites Redmond Police Department reaching response times under two minutes with a full-time DFR program and Brookhaven PD combining drone footage with real-time technology. AI capabilities are offered under an annual plan.
