MCI, Motor Coach Industries, delivered its first coach in 1933 and is North America’s leading motor coach manufacturer, with fabrication, manufacturing and service centres in the United States and Canada. Its current line is the luxury J Series, an industry best seller for more than two decades, and the D Series aimed at commuter and rapid transit work, with nearly 30,000 MCI coaches reported on the road. Support includes 24-hour emergency roadside assistance, a technical support hotline, in-field technical service experts, mobile service trucks, and a service centre network covering collision repair and refurbishing. The company describes its parts operation as North America’s largest bus and motorcoach parts supply, with online ordering and a regional parts manager as a single point of contact, and offers a Super 60 extended warranty on key items. MCI Academy is the industry’s only Automotive Service Excellence accredited technician training organization. MCI is a subsidiary of NFI Group and works alongside New Flyer, whose combined platforms include low and zero emission buses and coaches.
