ODRA Road Sweepers manufactures mechanical street sweepers in Grand Forks, North Dakota, with more than 1,600 units produced for the U.S. and Canadian market since 2006. The flagship MT4H rides an Isuzu NRR chassis, joined recently by the MT4H Gasoline on a Ford 550 and the all-new MS5H on a Freightliner M2. The company builds deliberately straightforward machines, with a 32 GPM hydraulic system, no CAN bus electrics, a steel riveted hopper box, and a wet-painted frame, and many units can be operated with a regular driver’s license. Built originally as Challenger Manufacturing and later as a blind manufacturer for other brands, the company has sold under the ODRA name since 2020, supported from five locations in North Dakota, Texas, Florida, Alberta, and Manitoba. A Sourcewell contract simplifies municipal procurement.
Regenerative air sweepers built in Waco, Texas, from parking lot units to high-speed airport runway models, with about 30 factory service schools a year.
