Power Brake supplies brake drums and rotors treated with its Diamond Technology, aimed at fleets that want longer component life and fewer brake jobs. The company offers a warranty for three times the life of a fleet’s current rotors or drums, and says its parts install without machining or extensive burnishing. It frames the benefit as lower cost per mile through fewer relines, reduced labour hours, smaller parts inventories and more time in service. Named applications include fire trucks, ambulances, police vehicles, rescue trucks, refuse trucks, transit and paratransit shuttles, vacuum trucks, cement trucks, tankers, and towing and recovery vehicles. Products are ASTM B117 salt spray tested and FMVSS 121 certified for the transit industry, and the company holds a Sole Source Advantage classification awarded through the Governor High Tech Council. Power Brake publishes fleet references across Florida public agencies and runs a Try and Buy programme that fits one vehicle in harsh service, with a full refund if the fleet is unsatisfied at the end of the trial.
