Tenco, founded in 1976 in St-Valerien-de-Milton, Quebec, is a North American leader in manufacturing, installing, and distributing snow and ice removal equipment for highways, municipal roadways, and airfields. The product line covers heavy-duty snow plows, wings, spreaders, combination dump bodies, snow blowers, and airport brooms, and the company specializes in fast delivery of turnkey winter maintenance truck fleets upfitted so chassis and mounted equipment work together from day one. Tenco has grown through acquisitions including the SMI self-propelled snowblower and runway sweeper line in 1999 and Vohl’s snow removal division in 2003, and it distributes Bucher Municipal and Zaugg equipment in North America. Alamo Group acquired Tenco in 2011, and RPM Tech was placed under Tenco management in 2017.
