Overview

Troy Products has designed and manufactured vehicle equipment since 1991, with public safety agencies as a primary market and its products made in America. Its range covers consoles, prisoner transport systems, cargo storage vaults and slide trays, weapon mounts, and door and window protection, built for specific platforms including the Chevrolet Tahoe, Dodge Durango, Ford Expedition and Police Interceptor Utility. The K9 transport systems are designed around the working dog: a heavy-gauge aluminium enclosure with heavy-gauge steel doors and window guards, MOLLE-compatible hole punches, a precut dome light opening, a locking spring-loaded front sliding door, piano-hinged window guards for easy cleaning, and vent holes so HVAC reaches the enclosure. The powder coat is specially formulated to resist the corrosive effects of dog urine, the floor base pan has a lip so water does not sit in the vehicle after cleaning, and edges are rounded to avoid injuring the animal. Optional K9 accessories include driver and passenger side fire extinguisher compartments, locking compartments, a rinseable plastic floor tray and a spill-resistant water bowl. The company publishes platform-specific demonstration videos and sells through territory sales managers.
