Overview

D&R Electronics is a Canadian manufacturer of emergency vehicle equipment for first responders and the public utility sector, established in 1976. The company designs, manufactures and installs at a 36,000 square foot facility in Bolton, Ontario with about a hundred employees, producing under a quality management system certified to ISO 9001:2015. Its electronic line covers LED lightbars and interior lighting, siren and light control systems, siren speakers, flashers and modules, vehicle power distribution and battery protection units, and vehicle-mounted traffic directors and arrowsticks. Its metal line covers equipment consoles, laptop mounts and docking stations, printer mounts, window bars and door covers, weapon mounts, storage cabinets and K9 units, plus custom storage for vans, pickups, service trucks and mobile command units. Dovetail, the company’s patent pending docking system, pairs with Samsung DeX enabled phones so a single handheld device can serve in the car, at the desk and on the street. D&R sells through a dealer and representative network.
