Northern Business Intelligence

Business intelligence, customized training, and analytics for Geotab fleet management.

Overview

Northern Business Intelligence is a Geotab reseller and fleet management partner serving customers across North America, with government and utility fleets among its named markets. The company grew out of the Kerr Group of Companies: its sister company Frontier Technologies needed to manage a fleet of more than 100 vehicles across Canada in 2005, adopted Geotab, and the group then created Northern BI to bring the platform to businesses in Atlantic Canada. Its offering covers vehicle and asset tracking, engine and drivetrain data analytics through the Geotab GO device’s diagnostic port connection, workforce optimization around fuel use, idling, speed and maintenance, and workflow management with automated IFTA, HOS and DVIR reporting through MyGeotab. Beyond reselling hardware the company provides business intelligence, custom reporting, customized training and professional integration services. It positions its support around direct access to its own staff rather than third-party call centres or chatbots, and reports a customer retention rate above 95 percent. The company serves customers in both English and French.

Our team selects the companies, verifies the listings, classifies every supplier, and cross-references cooperative and state contract information. That editorial judgment and curation is what makes the directory useful, and it is protected as an original compilation under United States copyright law.

What you are welcome to do. Browse the directory, look up suppliers, share links to any page, and cite individual listings with attribution to Modern Public Fleet.

What you may not do. Bulk extraction, scraping, or systematic downloading of listings; republishing the directory or any substantial portion of it; using the directory to build or train a competing product or dataset.
