More than 400,000 parts are now searchable, priceable and orderable through Fleetrite.com, an e-commerce platform International Motors launched Oct. 1 for fleets, independent repair shops and owner-operators.
The site carries International original equipment manufacturer parts, Fleetrite-branded all-makes aftermarket parts and third-party all-makes aftermarket parts in a single catalog, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week without calling a parts counter.
Real-time inventory visibility is the platform’s core operational feature. A buyer searching for a part sees availability simultaneously across three sources: the local dealer’s shelf, an International parts distribution center and online inventory, along with pricing and an estimated delivery window before the order is placed. Orders fulfill through more than 600 International and IC Bus dealer locations across North America. For national fleets, direct ordering is also available through application programming interface integration. Parts ship to the dealer or direct to the customer’s location, with order tracking available through delivery.
To use the site, customers create an account and select a dealer location, then search by vehicle identification number, vehicle, stock-keeping unit or part category. Purchase history supports reorders.
The Fleetrite brand, founded in 1969, covers more than 100 product lines with approximately 10,000 active part numbers, each validated by International. Fleetrite parts installed within the International or IC Bus dealer network carry an 18-month parts-and-labor warranty. Fleetrite parts are priced below original equipment manufacturer levels, according to International.
International’s distribution infrastructure behind the site includes 10 parts distribution centers across the United States, Canada and Mexico, with 2.7 million square feet of warehouse space. Those centers ship 6.6 million parts annually and are held to a 95% fill rate, meaning product reaches a dealer within 24 hours or less.
Nathan Barber of Hill International Trucks, one of the co-designers of Fleetrite.com, said the site lets buyers “search and cross-reference parts while seeing live inventory on our shelves and at the local PDC.” adding that the consolidated ordering experience “keeps customers coming back.”
“Fleetrite.com puts the entire International parts catalog in the customer’s hands,” said Jordan Birch, vice president, Parts, International. “Find the part, see where it is, know when you’ll have it – all without picking up the phone. That’s what keeps trucks earning.”
