Collective Data Wins Statewide Virginia Contract for Fleet and Asset Management Software

Virginia public agencies can now procure fleet and asset management software through a statewide cooperative contract without running separate competitive bids, following an award to Collective Data Inc. of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
The Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA) issued the contract, designated VA-260501-CVDI, for Fleet and Asset Management Information System services. It is open to all authorized public bodies in the commonwealth, including state agencies, local governments, public schools, transit authorities and participating private institutions of higher education.
“Many Virginia agencies are managing complex, high-stakes assets on outdated platforms. Modernizing shouldn’t mean starting from scratch or fighting with software that can’t adapt to how you operate,” said Tim Langer, Director of Sales at Collective Data. “This contract gives them a straightforward way to move forward, with the data, flexibility and support to do it right.”
The contract runs through April 30, 2028, and carries four two-year renewal options, representing a potential relationship spanning more than a decade. Implementation services, configuration, training and ongoing support are available directly through the contract.
Collective Data describes its platform as configurable for fleet and asset management across public-sector, utility, higher education and commercial fleet organizations in North America. The company has spent more than two decades serving those markets.
