John Deere has introduced two SmartGrade Box Blade attachments, the BX07 and BX08, built specifically for its 333 and 335 P-Tier Compact Track Loaders.
Both models integrate John Deere-designed hardware, SmartGrade technology and machine controls into a single system aimed at finish grading work. The attachments are available now with 2D and laser SmartGrade capability; full 3D SmartGrade capability is set to follow. Emily Pagura, product marketing manager at John Deere, said in the announcement that the box blade line “expand customer capabilities through precision technology that speeds up the grading process with accuracy.”
Standard features on both models include hydraulically actuated flip-up front wheels, adjustable wheel height and a recessed valve block intended to support operator sightlines. A heavy-duty box design with edge protection is included for high-wear grading applications.
John Deere is also making a fire suppression system available for its large-frame skid steer and compact track loaders. The system pairs a 20 lb. suppression tank with a compact control panel that mounts directly to the machine, targeting fleets operating in high-debris environments.
