More than 60 educational sessions and 130-plus speakers are scheduled for NAFA Fleet Management Association’s 2027 Institute & Expo, set for April 5-7 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Registration and hotel accommodations are open at nafainstitute.org. Early bird registration runs through January 15, 2027.

The three-day program will cover fleet data and decision-making, risk management, safety, emerging technologies, operational efficiency and leadership, delivered through case studies, expert-led sessions and peer presentations. NAFA is billing the theme as “Bridging Progress with Possibilities,”

“Fleet professionals are being asked to navigate increasingly complex operations while continuing to deliver results for their organizations, and NAFA’s role is to give them the knowledge, resources and community to do that successfully,” said Bill Schankel, CAE, CEO of NAFA. “I&E brings the entire fleet community together, but what makes the experience so valuable is what attendees can take back with them – practical strategies, new ideas and solutions they can put into action to make their fleets safer, more efficient and more effective.”

Pre-conference programming on April 4 will include two certificate programs offering deeper instruction in Information Management and Sustainable Fleet Management. Also beginning April 4 and running through April 7 is CAFM Live, an immersive track covering all eight Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) certification modules to help candidates accelerate their exam preparation.

The Expo Hall will feature products, technologies and services from hundreds of suppliers. An Innovations Showcase within the hall will spotlight new products and updates from exhibiting companies, with attendees voting for a People’s Choice Award. An Outdoor Ride and Drive experience will return, giving attendees direct access to vehicles and technologies in operation.

Technician training with hands-on instruction aimed at service professionals maintaining today’s vehicles is also on the program. Recognition events will include the 100 Best Fleets awards and credentials for newly credentialed CAFMs.

NAFA says the 2027 event builds on what it describes as one of its best-attended shows in nearly a decade. Exhibitors are encouraged to reserve space early for preferred placement, and the preliminary program is posted at nafainstitute.org, with additional session details, speaker listings and keynote announcements to follow before April.
