KeyNest

KeyNest provides smart key storage and management solutions for both businesses and individuals

Overview

KeyNest provides key management systems and services, founded in 2016 with two founders and a handful of locations in central London and now operating in more than 30 countries. Its public network of KeyNest Points covers over 7,000 locations in more than 800 cities, where keys can be dropped off and access managed remotely, with storage starting at $9.99. KeyNest Lockers are internet-connected all-steel lockers installed on a customer’s own premises for 24/7 pickup and drop-off without staff on hand, starting at $1,699 and shipped worldwide from UK and EU hubs. KeyNest Cloud is an app for iOS, Android and desktop that uses smart fobs to track which keys are out, who holds them and when they are due back, and the company says more than 1,000 offices use it daily. Fleet managers are among the named users of its private lockers, alongside hotels, car rentals, dealerships and garages, logistics, schools, care homes and hospitals. The company reports more than 70,000 customers, 800,000 keys managed and 12.5 million key movements.
