Verizon Connect and AWS Announce Collaboration
Partnership aims to integrate cloud capabilities with fleet management platform.

Verizon Connect has completed a full migration of its Verizon Connect Reveal fleet management software platform to Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS), moving the entire system onto AWS’s multiple Availability Zone (AZ) architecture for redundancy, scalability and near-real time data processing.
“With Verizon Connect Reveal on AWS, we will be able to accelerate development, which will enable us to transform our platform,” said Nick Power, Chief Technology Officer at Verizon Connect. “AWS allows us to get to market more quickly and deliver better experiences for customers, ultimately strengthening our position as a leading provider of fleet management software worldwide.”
Reveal is designed to give fleet operators near-real time visibility into vehicles, drivers and field work. The platform supports decision-making across fleets of varying sizes using connected vehicle data.
Kathrin Renz, Vice President of Business Development and Industries at AWS, said the infrastructure is built to support monitoring and optimization of commercial fleets at scale. “By running its fleet management system on AWS, Verizon Connect can help businesses all over the world use connected data to promote driver safety and sustainability, and reduce costs,” Renz said, adding that AWS data analytics and machine learning services are part of the roadmap for new Reveal capabilities.
In 2021 alone, Verizon Connect earned nine industry awards covering both Reveal and its Video Driver-facing Dashcam product.
