Gravely Replaces Four Pro-Turn Zero-Turn Models, Holds Prices Flat

The Pro-Turn 400, 400X, 600 and Mach One bring redesigned cockpits, updated baffling and 5-year warranties while matching predecessor pricing.

Gravely has refreshed its flagship Pro-Turn zero-turn lineup at prices unchanged from the units they replace, with a new entry-level Pro-Turn series, at a minimum advertised price just below $10,000, to follow ahead of the spring 2027 mowing season. AriensCo announced the changes Oct. 21 in a release on its newsroom.

The Pro-Turn 400, Pro-Turn 400X, Pro-Turn 600 and Pro-Turn MACH ONE succeed the Pro-Turn 300, 500, 600 and MACH ONE. AriensCo Chief Revenue Officer Stephen Ariens said the launches reflect the company’s commitment to developing products around customer needs. “A competitive price matters, but so does the value behind it,” said Gravely Sr. Product Marketing Manager Cassie Johnston. “Professionals look for confidence in their investment, and giving a highly reputable transaxle a machine-match warranty is another way we deliver greater value and peace of mind to our customers. The bonus to our customers is we’re doing that while keeping prices flat compared to last year’s models.”

All four models carry 7-gauge steel cutting decks with a reinforced leading edge, plus limited lifetime warranties on the deck shell and frame. Warranty coverage splits by tier: the Pro-Turn 400 is backed by a 5-year, 1,250-hour limited warranty, while the Pro-Turn 400X, 600 and MACH ONE each carry a 5-year, 1,500-hour limited warranty. Hydro-Gear ZT-5400 commercial transaxles are standard across the lineup, with warranty coverage matched to each machine’s full warranty term.

The redesigned cockpit positions operators lower in the machine to improve the center of gravity on hills and uneven terrain. A vertical-pin height-of-cut adjustment system is new across all four models, and a wider rollover protection structure is standard. Suspension seat configurations differ by model: full suspension seats adjustable to operator weight on the Pro-Turn 400 and MACH ONE, air-ride seats on the 400X, and the Pro-Turn 600 retains Gravely’s Operator Pod System, which isolates the operator from the chassis to reduce shock and vibration.

Except for the 60-inch MACH ONE, all four models are available with 52-, 60- or 72-inch X-Factor 3 decks. Baffling in the 60-inch decks has been updated to improve cut quality in northern grasses. Commercial Kawasaki FX engines ranging from the FX781EVO to the FX1000 power the lineup, with electronic fuel injection available on select models, and combined with the ZT-5400 transaxles, ground speeds run from 12 to 15 mph. Fuel tank capacity on these models is 13.4 gallons. The MACH ONE retains its industry-exclusive High-Volume-Output tunnel deck, built on the Pro-Turn 400X platform, designed to discharge large volumes of material in tall and heavy mowing conditions.

The new Pro-Turn series, aimed at owner-operators and entry-level contractors, carries a minimum advertised price just below $10,000 and is to be available ahead of the spring 2027 mowing season. It comes in 48-, 52- and 60-inch deck widths and is powered by Kawasaki FX engines, either the 22-horsepower FX691V or the 23.5-horsepower FX730V. It carries the same 7-gauge X-Factor 3 deck with sloped nose, Constant Belt Tension system and snap-lock belt covers found on higher-tier models, along with a full-suspension seat adjustable to operator weight, wide-profile rollover protection structure and a fully welded tubular steel frame with automotive-style mandrel bends. Oversized 23-inch tires are standard, and the fuel tank holds 10 gallons. The warranty is four years or 750 hours, with a limited lifetime warranty on the deck shell and frame. Johnston said the new Pro-Turn gives landscapers “a path into a commercial mower sooner than they may have thought possible.”

Both product families were designed at AriensCo’s headquarters in Brillion, Wisconsin and are fabricated and assembled in Fayetteville, Tennessee. The Pro-Turn 400, 400X, 600 and MACH ONE are available now. All Gravely equipment moves through independently owned and operated partner dealerships in the United States and Canada.
