A new forestry mulching head built for carriers too small for conventional attachment lines is entering the market from FAE, which is scheduled to demonstrate it at the 2026 TCI Expo.
The FAE BL0/ML mulcher is designed for mini track loaders and articulated mini loaders rated from 24 to 40 hp. The attachment cuts light vegetation, brush and trees up to 4 inches in diameter and is aimed at roadside and railway maintenance, canal and waterway bank work, wildlife area management, vineyard and orchard upkeep, and commercial and sports green area upkeep.
The head uses FAE’s Bite Limiter technology, which employs wear-resistant steel rotor profiles that cap cut depth, reducing power draw and helping hold a steady working speed. The system also lowers the risk of rotor stall and optimizes fuel consumption. The gear motor is designed to minimize routine service and eliminates the need for a dedicated case drain line. Spike PRO offset, interchangeable counter blades are intended to reduce power absorption and produce a finer finished product on both hard wood and flexible brush. Interchangeable, adjustable skids allow operating-height precision, and adaptable mounting plates let the head fit a range of mini loader interfaces. A standard safety chain and Lexan windshield are included.
The BL0/ML accepts either BL/MINI blades or C/3/MINI teeth and is offered in two cutting widths: the BL0/ML-75 and the BL0/ML-100.
FAE is scheduled to exhibit the BL0/ML at the 2026 TCI Expo.
