Driver Training Solutions

Professional driving simulators for transit, emergency services, airport and waste fleets, with route rehearsal, courseware and instructor stations.

Overview

Driver Training Solutions, a division of Acron Aviation (previously L3Harris Commercial Aviation Solutions), builds professional-grade driving simulators and training programs for public-sector and commercial fleets. Simulators cover airport ground vehicles, emergency services, transit buses, truck and delivery driving, and waste management, with force feedback steering, six-channel surround sound, collision detection, 180-degree view, functional mirrors, a proprietary 3D road surface model, an instructor station, and a scenario builder. Its TransitSim public transit simulator lets operators rehearse actual city routes and high-risk scenarios such as distraction, speed control, pedestrian zones, and low visibility without road time or fuel burn. The offering also includes performance assessment engines, computer-based courseware covering driving fundamentals, safety, and compliance, and custom configurations.
